The seminar ‘DAT Group TechTalk 2023’ enhances competitive capabilities for hundreds of students
On June 17, 2023, the seminar ‘DAT Group TechTalk 2023’ was held at Ton Duc Thang University, supporting hundreds of students to stay updated on trends and enhance essential skills needed to improve competitiveness and open doors to successful careers in industrial automation.
The program started at 1:30 PM, but by 1:00 PM, the 10F auditorium of Ton Duc Thang University, with a capacity of nearly 300 students, was fully packed. With the theme ‘DAT Group TechTalk 2023’, students eagerly awaited to hear about crucial knowledge that would assist in shaping their future career paths, while also gaining practical insights from industry experts
The content of the program was designed by DAT Group focusing on topics that attracted the attention of 3rd and 4th-year students specializing in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, and Electronics. Accordingly, the ‘DAT Group TechTalk’ seminar was divided into three parts with specialized themes.
In Part 1, DAT Group experts provided an overview of current trends and the most popular industrial automation systems.
In Part 2, DAT Group engineers delved deeper into products and automation solutions from two leading brands in the field, INVT and Siemens, sharing practical project implementations and experiences in dealing with past challenges.
In Part 3, a Siemens expert presented a perspective on a promising new technology in the IoT era, which is Industrial Edge Computing and Industry Edge, discussing cloud service connections and performance analysis.
To make the event more interactive, DAT Group engineers directly guided students in operating demo sets simulating prominent transmission solutions successfully applied in numerous major projects. The seminar atmosphere continued to heat up as students engaged in interactive minigames, answering questions and receiving attractive gifts from DAT Group.
Within the constraints of time and space, the Organizing Committee also provided Ton Duc Thang University students with the opportunity to receive direct training at DAT Group’s Training and Development Science and Technology Center, experiencing modern facilities and a diverse range of demo solution systems.
Dr. Vu Tri Vien, Lecturer of the Automation Control Department at Ton Duc Thang University, shared: “I find that the ‘DAT Group TechTalk 2023’ seminar provides extremely practical content, focusing precisely on the practical needs of today’s industrial automation students. This is not only a valuable source of information for students but also updates educators like us on the trends in human resources to plan appropriate and highly effective training programs.”
On behalf of the program’s organizing committee, Mr. Nguyen Huu Vu, Head of Product Marketing – Automation at DAT Group, expressed gratitude and expressed the desire to continue collaborating with the university to organize more beneficial programs for future core personnel.
