DAT brings clean energy, “Lighting up Green Dreams” at Thien Phuoc Shelter

On December 12, 2020, DAT Corporation organized a charity program, delivering a solar power system to Thien Phuoc Shelter located at 156 Vo Thi Lieu, An Phu Dong Ward, District 12, Ho Chi Minh City. The event was attended by representatives from DAT’s leadership, Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation, media units, as well as all teachers and children at Thien Phuoc Shelter.

Thien Phuoc Shelter provides care for over 60 disabled and orphaned children. It serves as a rehabilitation and educational center for children with disabilities such as epilepsy, cerebral palsy, and developmental delays within the city. Despite facing challenges in infrastructure and facilities, the shelter is filled with laughter and love from teachers and volunteers.

The system includes 40 Canadian Solar panels  và 1 Sungrow grid-tied inverter, ensuring stable operation and high efficiency, expected to generate nearly 2.1MWh of electricity per month. This initiative is estimated to save approximately 6 million VND in monthly electricity costs, which can be redirected to improve teaching equipment, facilities, and the overall care for the children.
