On February 25, 2023, DAT Group organized the workshop “Start Your Career with DAT” at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH). The program attracted nearly 200 students to participate.

The workshop “Start Your Career with DAT” was held with the aim of opening up development paths and success trajectories for future automation engineers. At the workshop, HUTECH students were updated and supplemented with knowledge and trends in the industrial automation field, focusing on two main content areas.

In the overview section, DAT Group experts consolidated information on market devices (such as inverters, HMIs…), control devices (PLC and PAC, solutions and pre-architectures for PAC), industrial communication protocols, monitoring systems (SCADA, client-server models, redundant servers, historian servers), and MES systems.

In the practical knowledge section, HUTECH students were introduced to prominent automation solutions currently applied with high efficiency across thousands of businesses nationwide. DAT experts specially prepared demo setups to allow students to immediately observe and understand the operation of these automation applications in real-world scenarios. Examples include the INVT Servo DA200 ECAM solution for controlling rotating blade cutters and the Master-Slave GD350A, as well as demos of Siemens devices in Factory Automation and Motion Control groups.

Over the years, there has been a growing demand for human resources in the field of automation. However, due to relatively high requirements, graduates often face challenges when pursuing their passion in a professional environment. Nguyen Truong Cong Nguyen, an intern at DAT Group as an Automation Engineer, shared: “At DAT Group, I am constantly provided opportunities to learn and develop by experiencing and taking responsibility for assigned tasks. To help me gain more experience and deeper knowledge in industrial automation design and application, senior engineers have allowed me to participate in various real-world projects. Under the dedicated guidance of experienced engineers, I have grown significantly in both knowledge and professional skills within a short period.”
