After days of diligent work, DAT team members embarked on a retreat together to Phu Quoc Island from April 19-21, 2019. This getaway provided over 150 DAT members with a chance to relax their bodies, refresh their spirits, and engage in recreational activities aimed at fostering camaraderie among departments. It aimed to strengthen bonds and set higher goals collectively for the future.

Departure: Flight to Phu Quoc on April 19

To maximize their leisure time during the retreat, DAT members traveled by plane, avoiding the fatigue of long-distance travel by road. By 9 AM on April 19, everyone touched down on the cool island of Phu Quoc. Energized and ready for the team building activities ahead, each member was brimming with enthusiasm for the exciting journey ahead.

Accommodation at a 5-star resort

The Novotel, an internationally acclaimed 5-star resort, was DAT’s home for the 3-day, 2-night trip. It not only provided luxurious accommodation but also embraced nature closely. Every step was shaded by lush greenery, and each morning greeted with the chirping of birds at the doorstep. This serene environment was chosen by DAT to ensure members were cared for not just physically, but also mentally rejuvenated.

Games Focused on Bonding and Advancement

Once again, DAT members applied their core values of Commitment, Sharing, Dedication, and Innovation to conquer challenges in various games. Exciting and competitive, these activities united the six teams, with some winning and some losing, but all smiling together. The event transformed 150 individuals into a cohesive and robust team, recharging their spirits by midday with a full 200% enthusiasm boost, even as their stomachs rumbled for fresh seafood, a specialty of Phu Quoc.

Interesting Sightseeing Tours

Between recreational activities, DAT organized visits to famous spots in Phu Quoc such as Ham Ninh Fishing Village, Ho Quoc Pagoda, and the Fish Sauce Factory.

Grand Gala Dinner

No team building trip is complete without a grand gala dinner. Here, members mingled more intimately, engaging in lively games and listening to heartfelt speeches from the company’s directors. Barriers between departments, hierarchies, and personalities seemed to dissolve, replaced by shared joy, common purpose, and a unified commitment to strive towards future goals.

Back to Reality

The trip concluded on the evening of April 21, 2019. DAT members returned to work with renewed enthusiasm and dedication, having bonded closely during this joyful and laughter-filled retreat. After meaningful challenges at the team building event, DAT members emerged more tightly knit across departments, ready to deliver even greater value to DAT’s customers and partners.
