The “FA at Site” workshop organized by DAT Group, featuring expert contributions from the Siemens team, was successfully held on May 31, 2024, in Ho Chi Minh City.

Focusing on the current “hot” topic of the smart automation factory model, the “FA at Site” workshop provided a wealth of knowledge, skills, and experience in utilizing Siemens’ latest products and technology solutions. These insights help address challenges related to enhancing productivity, increasing energy efficiency, and reducing carbon footprints.

The workshop was designed with a blend of theoretical instruction and practical application, enabling partners and technicians to easily grasp the knowledge and quickly become familiar with operational procedures, confidently applying solutions in actual factory environments.

During the program, the team of experts shared content on the overall requirements for sustainable development and innovative solutions from Siemens, including the EMS energy management solution, the energy efficiency features of the SINAMICS Drive, the SiGREEN Carbon Footprint management platform, advanced motion control with the SINAMICS Drive, S7-1500, and S7-1500T.

Thanks to the impressive characteristics of these technologies, which allow for rapid application in production activities and enhanced sustainability, participants remained enthusiastic and engaged throughout the program’s duration.

Additionally, in the practical session, Siemens experts directly guided participants on leveraging Siemens’ programming tools and available solutions to enhance competitiveness and successfully establish a smart factory model—a system capable of continuously connecting and processing data from production operations to the supply chain.

Concluding the program, participants also had the opportunity to network and receive advice on thoroughly resolving issues based on the experiences of experts and businesses in the same industry.
